Mundy O Lord, the maker of all thing or YouTube link (NB our copies are in E minor, down a semitone from the music and the YouTube) SATB
William Mundy (c. 1529–1591) was an English composer of sacred music. He was appointed to the Chapel Royal in 1562–1563, and was replaced in 1591, presumably following his death. O Lord, the maker of all thing, a setting of a text from The King’s Primer, is thought to be a contrafactum (adaptation of a Latin motet to an English text); it was so renowned it was later ascribed to Henry VIII
We haven't sung this since 2005.
Edwards In going to my naked bed or YouTube link SATB
We last sang this in October 2013.
Wilbye Draw on, sweet night or YouTube link Also in the Oxford Book of English Madrigals SSATTB
A gem of a piece. Suffolk-born Wilbye – the subject of a recent film of the same title - is considered one of the greatest of English madrigalists. His style characterized by delicate voice-writing, acute sensitivity to text and the use of false relations between major and minor modes. We looked at it last season and are returning to it by popular demand!
It was last sung at the Annual Dinner in 2016.
Marson The nymphs and shepherds danced (sorry, only the first page of the music seems to be available online!) or YouTube link SAATB

Tomkins Adieu ye city-prisoning towers or YouTube link Also in the Oxford Book of English Madrigals SSATB
(continued from last time)
Wilbye Love not me for comely grace SATB
